Porch House, London SW17

Extension to a small house in Wandsworth.

This side and front extension plays off the simple form of the front porch found throughout the area, extending the porch out and around the house to create an enlarged, open living space. The material palette is kept simple with complimentary bricks and tiles, and a front façade composed of framed and solid panels in stained Accoya timber, to chime with the language of vertical timber fencing in this modest suburban neighbourhood.
